Met the spiritual leader of the Bohra community, His Holiness Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin Saheb, this afternoon (10) at the Presidential Secretariat. On this occasion, I respectfully conveyed my appreciation for the spiritual leader’s visit to Sri Lanka and engaged in a cordial discussion with him. Sri Lanka’s ongoing social and economic development programmes, particularly the initiatives being undertaken to eradicate the menace of illicit drugs and to combat fraud and corruption, were also appreciated by His Holiness during the meeting.
