Aa Masjid na Mihrab ma 19th Ramzan 40AH ma Ibn Muljim ye Sajda ni halat ma fajar na vaqt aap par hamla kidu ane 2 din baad aap ye zakhm si shaheed thaya. Aaje bhi Masjid e Azam aap par roi che ane apna Shia ne rulave che.

The Architecture Through the Centuries

Early Structure

Original masjid ni design ma 4 gateways hata ane mohtu rectangular shape me sehen hata ane Covered Verandas hata ji Brick columns na support par bana hata. Qibla ane Mihrab ni wall ek bija si uniquely aligned hatu je ye zamana na hisab si ghanu modern feature hatu.

Fatimid and Abbasid Enhancements

Fatemi Imam as na zaman ma aa masjid ma stucco inscriptions, Kufic calligraphy, and decorative arches add karva ma aavi je Fatemi art ni glory ne bayan kare che. Abbasid khalifa, je Ahle Bayt as na dushmano hata ye loko bhi aa masjid ni hurmat samjhi ane ehni karamat kidi.

Aa Masjid na renovation nu Major chapter 52nd dai Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin na andar shuru thayu. Aap maula ye Misr ma Jamea Al Anwar & Juyushi nu tameer nu kaam khtm kidu. Aap Maula R.a ni umeed shareefa thi ke aap Masjid e Azaam kufa je Maula Ali as ni masjid che ehnu bhi restoration nu kaam aap Maula r.a farmave.

Aa puru project aap Maula R.a ni Nigrani ma shuru thyu ane ghana Skilled Fatemi Artisians ane Al Jamea Tus Saifiyah na experts aa khidmat ma shamil thaya.

Mihrab mubarak jaha Maula Ali as Shaheed thaya, ye Mihrab ne aap Maula r.a ye White Marble si renovate farmayu ane Soona ane Chandi (Gold & Silver) calligraphy ma Quran ni aayat ane Allah Mohammed ane Ali nu naam likhu. Green Canopy ane white tilework Maula Ali as ni ibadat ne emanted kare che.

🌙 Dome and Arches

Central dome ne vapas banava ma aayu ane andar Light shafts mukva ma aaya taaqe Sunlight direct Mihrab par aavi sake ane Nur e Imamat zahir thai. Masjid na Arches ne Fatemi geometric style ma vapas reconstruct karva ma aaya. Aa masjid na patterns Jamea Al Anwar si leva ma aaya.

🕌 Courtyard and Pillars

Sehen ma Imported Greek marble ne hath si polish krine lagva ma aaya. Sathe Makrana (india Pathar) ne bhi lagava ma aaya. Masjid na 4 darwaza ne vapas restored karva ma aaya ane ehna upar Kufi khatt ma Quran ni aayat likhva ma aavi. 4 darwaza ne Anabiya na naamo aapva ma aaya.

🕯️ Zarih and Pilgrim Area

Mirhab na nazdik zareeh mubarak banava ma aavi je Silver ni hati ane ehna andar Crystal lamps lagva ma aaya. Namaz na hall ne Arabesque mosaics tiles si flooring karva ma aavi je Cairo ni Fatemi Mosque si isnpired che.

Timeline of Masjid-e-Azam, Kufa

  • 36 AH / 657 CE – Maulana Ali (AS) establishes Kufa as capital and builds Masjid-e-Azam.

  • 40 AH / 661 CE – Maulana Ali (AS) martyred during Fajr in the same masjid.

  • Fatimid–Abbasid Periods (10th–12th Century) – Artistic and structural expansions.

  • Mamluk–Ottoman Era (13th–19th Century) – Restorations and additions.
