Galiyakot, also known as Taherabad, holds a special place in the hearts of Mumineen across the world. It is the final resting place of Al-Maula Ajal Al-Murtaz, Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (QR) – a noble wali of Allah whose shahadat illuminated this land with noor.

During the illustrious era of Imam Mustansir Billah (SA), Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (AQ) served as one of the great pillars of Dawat-e-Hadiyah. At this time, Maulaya Abdullah (RA) brought the light of hidayat to Gujarat, guiding many souls towards Islam.
Among those who embraced faith at his hands were Maulaya Bharmal (a Wazir of the local king) and his brother Tarmal. Their families became the foundation of Dawat in Hindustan.
Maulaya Abdullah (RA) personally nurtured Maulaya Yaqub (AQ), son of Maulaya Bharmal, and Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (AQ), son of Maulaya Tarmal, preparing them for the service of Dawat.
Journey Towards Vagad – The Incident of Shahadat
Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (AQ) set forth towards Vagad to spread the message of Islam. While passing through Galiyakot, he and his companions were ambushed by bandits.
Despite being surrounded, they fought with courage, like lions defending the truth. As the sun set, Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (AQ) stood in prayer, engaged in namaz.
In this sacred state of ibadat, the enemies struck him with arrows and spears, and he attained shahadat. Many of his companions also embraced martyrdom alongside him.
Burial in Galiyakot – The Noorani Mazaar
The news of his martyrdom reached the Mumineen of Galiyakot. With reverence and devotion, they buried him in Taherabad, Galiyakot.
Today, his mazaar mubarak continues to be a place of barakat, with his house, masjid, and well still present, preserving the legacy of his pious life.
Miracles (Mo’jezaat) and Ziyarat
Throughout history, countless mo’jezaat have been witnessed at the Qubba Mubarak of Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (AQ). Caravans of Mumineen visit this sacred site, seeking shafaat and blessings.
Near his home stands a ber tree, which continues to thrive miraculously, symbolizing his eternal presence.
His Blessed Progeny – The Lineage of Do’at and Hudood
Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (AQ) was the ancestor of many great Fozola and Hudood of Dawat. Among them was his noble son:

At the time of his father’s shahadat, Maulaya Dawood was in Patan. Later, Maulaya Yaqub (AQ) sent him to continue the mission in Vagad. His qabr is located within the sehn of Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (QR) under a chatri.
